I'm BACK

So I am pretty new at blogging and really excited about all the yummy and exciting topics I plan to blog about. My list of ideas grows every day. However, my son had surgery last Wednesday so I had to put my blogging on hold for a few days.

My son, Brayden, is hiding under the bed from the surgeon. This little boy cracks me up.

If he could talk I am sure the caption would read “they are going to do what to me”

But I am back in the swing of things. Hopefully you will continue to stop by my blog and check out all of the wonderful ideas I have.

This is Just the Beginning

In 2009 I planned the most important and special event in my life, my wedding. After over a year of planning my special day, I fell in LOVE with event planning. Event planning is more than a job to me……it’s my passions. I truly enjoy the process of integrating a client’s style and vision and CREATING a truly CAPTIVATING event. It’s my belief that no two events are the same. No matter the size or occasion, each event should be special and uniquely yours. For that reason, I am taking a leap of faith and beginning my journey as an event planner. Thank you for visiting my blog and I am excited about my future as an event planner.

For my first blog, I want to share with you the event that created this event planning monster. On June 6, 2009, I married the man of my dreams in a romantic ceremony in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. We were surrounded by 40 of our most cherished family and friends.

Our wedding was held at the Grand Riviera Princess
The day was filled with a lot of emotions. My mind was racing with thoughts of me finally finding that special guy and being with him for the rest of my life.
The event was defiantly a labor of love. Here is just a taste of all the day had to offer.

As a shoe lover, finding the right shoes was a task in its own. I finally decided my something blue, would be a yummy pop of color on my feet.

And here is where it all went down. The ceremony took place in this beautiful gazebo overlooking the beach. The weather was PERFECT. I could not ask for a better day. Our wedding programs

Instead of the traditional unity candle, we decided on a sand ceremony. We are so happy we went this route. It symbolizes the blending of family and the best part it is a keepsake. Our vase with sand sits in our living room where we represent as all things this family is made of.
The wedding party. LOVE LOVE LOVE these people. After the ceremony, my husband and I had an intimate photo shoot with just the two of us.
Our guests were treated to a FAB meal in one of the hotel’s restaurant.
After a quick change of dresses, we partied the night awayTwo weeks after returning from Mexico, we hosted a HUGE reception for our entire family and friends, about 260 of our family and friends. This took place at the beautiful Blue Heron Golf Club in Medina, Ohio. co, we hosted a HUGE reception for our entire family and friends, about 260 of our family and friends.
